This blanket, when draped over a fire, smothers the danger by starving the fire of oxygen. The blanket can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothes are on fire. It is suitable for use in a variety of different environments including kitchens, factories, offices, stores, schools, restaurants, hotels, boats, nursing homes, ships, laboratories, etc. Blanket is made from woven glass fibre (which is asbestos free). The fire blanket is efficiently packaged in a premium grade PVC pouch with a quick release flap. Pouch can be wall mounted, offering easy and quick removal of the blanket. Please note the blanket should not be used as a welder’s blanket.
